Happy Birthday to Us!

One year. One whole year. Today marks the 365th day that our house has been on the market.

We’d throw a big party, but we can’t afford to because we’re still paying for STORAGE to store all the stuff we had to remove to make our house more appealing to the BUYERS that haven’t bought our house.

Somehow the logic of that escapes me at the moment.

Looking for creative home selling ideas. Anybody?

I wish I did. Though I do obsessively watch Designed to Sell on HGTV. I’m guessing you’ve already done everything they might say to do, considering you’ve moved some things into storage.

    Stupid real estate market.

Have you seen that show Date My House? Maybe it’s not actually called that, but that’s the idea. They have open house and one of the interested parties “wins” the chance to spend the night at the house and try it on for size. It would be strange to have strangers in the house all night…but maybe the novelty the outside the box thinking would spur some action?

Dude! First, thanks for “coming out” today on my de-lurking post. And second - I know! We found out today that the people who were supposed to buy our house in CT totally bailed. UGH.
