I had a migraine yesterday but went grocery shopping anyway since the boys were starting to wonder out loud whether adding a little Tabasco would make dog food palatable. My list consisted of two things:
Excedrin Migraine
Food, whatever.
About half an hour into my shopping, I found myself at the end of the health and beauty aisle. I stopped and thought, Hmmm. Don’t I need something from this aisle? God, my head hurts so bad I can’t remember.
You’d think the headache would have been an excellent reminder, but no. Halfway home I realized I’d forgotten the Excedrin.
Getting old sucks.

I’m sure it’s not a brain tumor.
I used to work at an insurance company. One of the hats I wore was supervising the life insurance area. Oh, yeah. You wanna bring hypochondria home? Spend evenings and weekends reading every detail in the medical files of how people died of brain cancer. Stomach cancer. Lung cancer. Cancer cancer.
Though it did have it’s moments. The guy who committed suicide by lighting himself on fire then running onto the highway was truly sad. But the guy that died masturbating made me chuckle a little. Is that wrong?

I’m sorry. I feel for you, really I do, but I can’t stop laughing. That image just makes me giggle and then belt out a huge cackle. That pained look is the same one I have almost all day long at work. Egads.

Oh dear — did you go back for the Excedrin? I start to panic when we’re running low on Excedrin (my pain reliever of choice) around here.
Love your new template changes…

Oh, ouch. Getting old truly does suck. I tend to pick up paper towels when what we really need (and what the LIST SAYS) is toilet paper.
